NATIONAL EXIT SURVEY ON LATINO VOTE TO BE CONDUCTED BY VELASQUEZ INSTITUTE
DATA TO BE RELEASED THROUGHOUT ELECTION DAY
WHAT: The William C. Velasquez Institute will conduct an exit survey of Latino voters in 14 states on Election Day, including the hotly contested battleground states of Florida, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Nevada. Other states to be included in the exit survey include California, Texas, New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. Interviewers from 56 precincts in the 14 states will conduct exit interviews of 1,000 respondents on Election Day. Data will be available throughout the day.
Simultaneously, the Institute will also conduct a separate exit survey of Latino voters in the state of Florida. Interviewers in 40 precincts across Florida will conduct 600 exit interviews.

WHO: The National Latino Exit Survey and the Florida Survey will be overseen by Dr. Henry Flores, Dean of the St. Mary’s Graduate School, Professor Andy Hernandez of St. Mary’s University, Dr. Luis Miranda of the MirRam Group in New York, and Antonio Gonzalez, President of the William C. Velasquez Institute.
